Netrani Island sits in the Arabian Sea off the coast of Karnataka, near Murudeshwar, and is reached by boat from that town. The Cavern is one of the rocky and reef features around its shoreline, with a cave-like structure that draws divers to this corner of the island. Divers here have reported blue-barred parrotfish, redtooth triggerfish, redlip parrotfish, and laced moray, along with pentagonal honeycomb coral on the surrounding reef. The island itself is small and uninhabited, worked mainly by operators based along the Karnataka coast.
