Delsan Wreck is a sunken ship in the South Atoll of Tubbataha Reefs Natural Park, Philippines, and is one of the most recognised diving areas in the park. The wreck has become an artificial reef and acts as a feeding and cleaning station for a wide variety of marine animals. Although the site takes its name from the shipwreck, most divers visit primarily for the surrounding reef and marine life rather than the wreck structure itself.
The reef holds an impressive range of species: reef sharks, turtles, rays, and schooling fish are regularly encountered, with occasional sightings of larger shark species. When the current picks up, silky sharks, whitetip reef sharks, and grey reef sharks can be found hunting schools of fish in a deep crevasse in the coral. The wreck itself is noted for concentrations of sweetlips and snapper.
Conditions at Delsan Wreck are typical of Tubbataha, with water temperatures between 27–30°C and strong or changing currents that can intensify marine activity but also create demanding diving. The site is accessible only by liveaboard from Puerto Princesa, and the Tubbataha season runs strictly from mid-March to mid-June. Diving here suits experienced, confident divers; Advanced Open Water certification or equivalent is recommended, as conditions can include strong currents, deep water, and open-water ascents.
