About this site

Devil’s Point is a reef dive at the southwest point of Maricaban Island in Anilao, Batangas, marked as Burijar Point on the charts. It is one of the most commonly visited sites in Anilao, and despite the name it is usually calm, although medium to strong currents can run and the surface can get rough.

The reef slopes from about 6 metres down past 30 metres, with an average depth near 14 metres and a maximum of 27 metres. Entry is easy, in the shallows inside the cove-shaped shoreline.

Soft corals are the main draw, with gorgonian bush corals and tree soft corals abundant. Going deeper, divers may glimpse bluefin jacks and dogtooth tuna.
