Diamond Cay is a reef dive site named after the small cay to which it is attached. The top of the reef sits at around 20 ft (6 m), and after crossing a large sandy area at 30 ft (9 m), the wall drops down to 100 ft (30.5 m) or more.
The site is particularly noted for the diversity of its corals, and the sandy areas and shallow sections of the reef are worth exploring for small and cryptic creatures hiding among them.
Marine life at Diamond Cay includes nurse sharks, turtles, moray eels, spotted eagle rays, triggerfish, grouper, and snapper, alongside a broad variety of colourful corals throughout the reef.
