The El Dorado is a wreck off Panama City Beach, Florida, resting in about 106 feet (32 m) of water. She is a three-story vessel and the newest wreck on this stretch of the Gulf Coast. Hurricane Michael blew the ship ashore in October 2018, and she sat derelict off the Hathaway Bridge through the winter and spring. She was sunk as a dive site in May 2019.
A great deal of sea life has already settled on the wreck. At the last visit the Happy Holidays message painted on her deck by local townsfolk, so drivers on the bridge would see it, could still be seen. This is a deep dive suited to advanced divers.
