Futo lies on the east side of the Izu Peninsula and is dived by boat as a series of drift dives. It is a novice level site, with an average depth of 10 metres (32 ft) and a maximum depth of 30 metres (100 ft).
A wide range of tropical fish migrate here every year. From June to August, divers have the chance to see squid eggs. Beginners can enjoy the dive from the boat point.
