Glenlee is a wreck lying at 25 metres, 7NM south-west of Littlehampton. The steamship was sunk by the German submarine UB57 on 9 August 1918 while on a voyage from Dunkerque to Portland carrying government stores.
The site is now very flat, with the hull opened up and spread across the sand. It is easy to swim along the ship's ribbing until two boilers appear, standing about 4 metres high.
An extremely large conger eel was found living between the boilers.
