Grand Barbe is the Pointe Grand Barbe dive off Silhouette Island, which lies within a national marine park. The site drops to 30 metres, with deep overhangs.
It is exposed to the open ocean, so swell, shore break and rip currents are all possible, and they are particularly strong from May to September. Visibility across the park's dive sites ranges from 15 to 30 metres.
