Grand Caille is a reef dive off Saint Lucia, reached by boat, and its name is Patois for Large Reef. It is known as a very dramatic site, with deep water gorgonians and sea whips.
Huge brain corals and barrel sponges grow here in good condition. Divers have also reported barracuda, jacks and squid over the reef, along with crustaceans among the coral.
