Hin Bida is a rock in the Phi Phi and Bida islands area of southern Thailand, about 6 km from Koh Bida. The rock breaks the surface at low tide and drops to 18 to 22 m (59 to 72 ft), surrounded by boulders, staghorn coral and sand. The soft corals at the southern end are especially nice.
The site is called Phi Phi Shark Point because leopard sharks are often seen here, and black-tip sharks and large rays turn up too. Visibility at the Bida islands is about 10 m (33 ft), lower than at some nearby sites, but there is more fish life. The Bida sites offer plenty of shelter from currents and waves.
