Itabaca Channel separates Santa Cruz Island from Baltra Island in the Galapagos archipelago, and it is the stretch of water crossed by the ferry that links the airport on Baltra to the main town of Puerto Ayora's road network. The channel sits within the Galapagos Marine Reserve on Ecuador's Pacific coast. Divers here have reported Galápagos sea lions, green sea turtles, bullseye puffers, razor surgeonfish, pronghorn spiny lobster, and Sally Lightfoot crabs along the rocky margins of the channel.
