Mainit is a drift dive along the Dauin coast, set on a sandy slope scattered with big coral blocks and soft coral formations. The sand is warm and black, and maximum depth is around 18m.
Large schools of barracuda, sweetlips, surgeonfish and snappers gather around the site, and the dive usually moves with the current from start to finish. It ends at about 5 metres, where an underwater hot spring rises from the seabed.
