P31 is a 52 m former patrol boat sitting almost upright on white sand off Comino, reached by boat. It was built in the 1960s in East Germany as a Kondor class minesweeper, passed to the Armed Forces of Malta in 1992, and was scuttled in 2009. Depths run from about 7 to 20 m, with the sand at around 20 m.
The open structure and good natural light make it an easy wreck for less experienced divers and for training and photography. Certified wreck divers can penetrate it and find the old radio room. The metal is sharp in places.
