Pared Verde is a deep wall dive site located on the northern reefs in front of Playa del Carmen, on the Caribbean coast of Mexico. The wall descends to 30 metres (100 ft) with its shallowest point at around 24 metres (80 ft), making it a dedicated deep dive rather than a site with shallower sections to explore.
The wall is characterised by sponges and sea fans, along with an abundance of marine life across its face. The site is categorised among the "Deep Walls" of the Playa del Carmen reef system alongside Los Arcos, Moc-che Deep, and Tortugas.
Conditions at Pared Verde include medium to strong current, which, combined with the depth range of 24–30 m (80–100 ft), places this site firmly in the advanced category. The verified visibility is great. The site is rated four out of five for difficulty and is suited to advanced certified divers with solid experience managing current at depth.
