Dived here today? How were conditions vs. what we showed?
Pounda Tunnel lies off Paxi, a small island in the Ionian Sea south of Corfu, part of the Ionian Islands chain off Greece's west coast. Diving here typically departs from the island's small harbor towns and explores the limestone coastline that shapes much of Paxi's shore, including the underwater formations that give the site its name. Divers have reported black longspine urchin, dusky spinefoot, European parrotfish, mauve stinger jellyfish, Mediterranean damselfish, Mediterranean rainbow wrasse, and ornate wrasse around the site.
