Punta Albatros lies along the coastline of Korcula island, part of Dubrovnik-Neretva County in southern Croatia's Adriatic Sea, within a stretch of the Dalmatian coast known for its rocky points and typically accessed from towns on the island. The site reaches a maximum depth of around 40 metres. Divers have also reported an inactive grenade among the unexploded ordnance sometimes encountered here, a reminder of the region's wartime past, and violet sea urchins have been spotted on the site as well.
