Punta Dalila is a reef dive site in Cozumel, Mexico, reaching a maximum depth of 17 metres (56 feet) with a shallowest point around 9 metres (30 feet), making it one of the shallower sites on the island and suitable for beginner and all-level divers.
The reef is rich in marine life, with turtles, nurse sharks, stingrays, and eagle rays — the latter seen seasonally — commonly encountered here. The site is considered particularly productive for wildlife sightings relative to its modest depth.
Punta Dalila is a boat dive, with most sites in the area approximately 10 minutes from shore by boat. Shore dives are not permitted within Cozumel's Marine Park. The site is also regularly used as a night dive location, for which a flashlight and glow sticks are mandatory.
Current can run swift at Punta Dalila and should be factored into dive planning, though the site remains accessible to beginners despite the potential for strong flow. Conditions including current and weather can affect scheduling on any given day.
