Race Rocks is a dive site near Rocky Point on the southern part of Vancouver Island, beside the grounds of Race Rocks Lighthouse, one of Canada's oldest lighthouses. The site lies inside the Race Rocks Ecological Reserve, where removing animals, plants or other materials is prohibited.
Whales live in the area, and divers are expected to take care around them. The lighthouse and the wildlife around it give the dive its character.
