Reggies is a reef dive in the Tofo area, about 15 km away and a 25 to 35 minute trip, with depths of 25 to 30 metres. It is rated advanced.
The site is named after a big cave that is often guarded by a sleepy leopard shark. Grey reef and white tip reef sharks patrol frequently, so one eye needs to be on the reef and the other out in the blue. It is also one of the few sites in the area where eagle rays are fairly common.
Current is usually forgiving here, and the site combines well with The Office for a double tank outing to the northern sites.
