Sirens is a dive site in Malta, known for the mermaid statue that stands underwater. It is one of the few places around the islands used for first-time divers, with a maximum depth of 12 metres and very good visibility.
Divers at Sirens have reported octopuses, moray eels, barracudas, bonitos, groupers and the occasional seahorse around the statue and the surrounding rock.
Confirmed by our research team, reported by independent divers, or observed nearby via iNaturalist — each entry is labelled with its source.
