Snake Reef, also known as Rempart Serpent, is a reef section in Mauritius at a depth of 25 to 26 metres. It gathers a huge variety of fish and is a favourite with photographers.
Lionfish, scorpionfish, stonefish and moray eels of different sizes live here, along with smaller creatures such as slugs and leaf fish. Manta rays can also be seen in the water above the reef.
