Talima is a dive at Talima Point on Olango Island, about 5 kilometres east of Mactan Island in Cebu, the Philippines. Divers enter by giant stride from the boat. It is a colourful wall and a sloping sandy area with lots of coral colonies, barrel sponges and rock formations, which makes it a good habitat for many species. There is a light current that gives a gentle push but does not make it a drift dive, and visibility reaches about 15 metres or more.
There are plenty of anemones and anemonefish, midnight snappers, harlequin sweetlips and trevally. Sea fans and soft corals in orange and yellow brighten the reef, with anthias and silver fusiliers in the water above, and clusters of silver fingerlings sheltering in the coral. On the sandy area, garden eels peek out of their burrows. Crinoid feather stars and red whip coral also grow here. The best season is July to November.
