The Boot is a dive site on the south coast's outer reefs, named for its distinctive boot-shaped coral formation. Depths on these outer reefs run from about 15 to 37 metres (50 to 120 feet).
Schools of barracuda, moray eels and nudibranchs make their home around it, and visibility is excellent. The site is one of the outer reefs that also include Castle and The Muff, and these are graded as intermediate dives with coral gardens along their length.
