Turquoise Bay is a bay in Cape Range National Park on the Ningaloo Reef in Western Australia, where rugged red cliffs meet sunlit shallows. It is consistently rated one of Australia's best beaches, and the reef can be explored from the shore.
The famous drift starts at the southern end, where the current gently carries swimmers over coral gardens. Visibility is great and the bay is protected. Turtles, parrotfish, rays and colourful coral are all seen here, and the current is light enough that this is a beginner site.
