Wave Corner is a reef dive site at Gili Rengit, east of Lombok's mainland, characterised by coral walls shaped by strong ocean currents. The site spans depths from 12 m to 30 m, and divers can start or end the dive at the Stone Tower, a structure built with layers of hard, soft, and basket corals. The reef features a mix of reef slopes, walls, and a small canyon between islands.
The reef holds an abundance of hard and soft corals alongside schools of reef fish, snapper, and squirrelfish. Turtles are frequent visitors, and eagle rays are commonly seen gliding in the blue water. The Stone Tower itself is adorned with varied coral growth, adding a focal point to the dive.
Wave Corner is primarily a drift dive, with fast currents carrying divers past the coral walls — conditions that place it firmly in the advanced category. Depths reach 30 m, and the strong currents and depth are the principal hazards to manage here.
