About this site

Alam Batu is a reef dive site in the Tulamben area of Bali, reached by boat travelling north-west from Amed with views of Mount Agung along the way. The site features a cave at around 15 metres depth, which requires a torch to explore, alongside quite steep canyons that give the dive a distinctly adventurous character.

The reef holds all kinds of hard coral and sponges across its terrain, and barracudas appear frequently. There is a good chance of encountering reef sharks, making this a site where larger pelagic visitors are a realistic prospect rather than a rarity.
