Balbagon is a slope dive site with depths ranging from 5 to 20 metres, characterised by a sandy slope scattered with a variety of coral blocks. The terrain is well suited to beginners, though the certification range extends to advanced divers.
The site is a strong choice for critter hunters, with scorpionfish, frogfish, leaf fish, ghost pipefish, and boxfish all recorded here, along with crabs, shrimps, and garden eels hiding among the sandy substrate and coral formations.
Confirmed by our research team, reported by independent divers, or observed nearby via iNaturalist — each entry is labelled with its source.
