About this site
Barracuda Point is a wall drift dive at Sipadan, Malaysia, famous for schooling fish. The wall is exposed, and the current depends on the tide. When the tide pushes water through the channels it can carry you in a smooth, controlled drift, so the stage of the tide at your entry matters.
Green turtles rest along the wall, and batfish are a common sight on the drift. The dive suits intermediate divers who are comfortable with currents and buoyancy, and maximum depth is about 28 metres.
