About this site
Boo Window is a series of coral-encrusted swim-throughs in the Misool area of southern Raja Ampat, where light streams through natural rock arches at 15 to 25 metres. The site is listed with depths of 5 to 25 metres and a mild current, and it lies within the 1,220 square-kilometre marine reserve around Misool.
Wobbegong sharks rest on the ledges here, camouflaged against the rock. Soft corals and sea fans cover the structure, and divers have also reported pygmy seahorses, ghost pipefish, nudibranchs and reef mantas around the site, along with great visibility.
