This site lies along the outer Great Barrier Reef off the coast of Queensland, in the reef system east of Cairns and Port Douglas, and is typically reached by day boat or liveaboard operating out of those two towns. Divers exploring the caves here have reported a wide range of reef fish, including blackspotted puffer, Pacific orange-spine unicornfish, reticulated damselfish, sixband, spotted and steephead parrotfish, striped surgeonfish, titan triggerfish, two-spot red snapper, and whitetip reef sharks.
Confirmed by our research team, reported by independent divers, or observed nearby via iNaturalist — each entry is labelled with its source.
