Coconut Point is a drift dive on the northern side of Apo Island, off Negros Oriental in the Philippines. The entry is in front of a small group of coconut trees near the shore, which gives the site its name. The dive usually runs west, and it is considered one of the best on the island.
The coral slope is covered in colourful feather stars and hard and soft corals. At the start of the dive there are plenty of parrotfish, red tooth triggerfish, snappers and trevallies, and a school of jacks usually gathers near a sandy slope in the middle of the dive, depending on the strength of the current. The best season is November to May.
The current is medium and can be strong, and the dive is recommended for advanced and experienced divers only. Carry an inflatable signal buoy. Divers finish at Largahan on the northwest side of the island.
