About this site
Devil's Backbone is an area of wrecks near the small island of Spanish Wells, off Eleuthera. It sits within a concentration of wreck dives around Harbour Island, and the vessels scattered across it include both old and modern ones.
Other wrecks lie close by, among them the remains of railroad cars from the Civil War era and a freighter that sank in 1971, so the whole area suits a trip built around wrecks.
