Gibson Bight is a reef dive at Roatan with swimthroughs, chimneys, channels and overhangs, enough variety to keep the whole dive interesting. It does not always get the attention it deserves.
On a deeper run the dive can reach a crack known as mini Mary's Place at around 27 metres (90 feet). The boat channel can also feel like a smaller version of Spooky Channel when conditions line up. Eagle rays are seen in the deep, morays sit in the overhangs and crabs hide in the reef. The site is best for intermediate and advanced divers.
