Jackfish Channel lies in the Ari Atoll, a coral atoll in the central Maldives west of Male, and like other channel sites in the atoll it is typically reached by dhoni or liveaboard from resorts scattered through the area. Divers here have reported blackfin anemonefish, bluefin trevally, eyeline surgeonfish, Moorish idols, orangespotted emperor, oriental sweetlips, powder blue tang, roundhead parrotfish, and saddleback butterflyfish along the reef.
Confirmed by our research team, reported by independent divers, or observed nearby via iNaturalist — each entry is labelled with its source.
