Kalpitiya Ridge is a rocky ridge off the northwest coast of Sri Lanka that extends for about two kilometres, reaching depths of up to 30 metres. Its structure includes caves, overhangs and swim-throughs.
Rock cod, humphead wrasse and large grouper are commonly encountered along the ridge, and the current is generally mild. The dive season runs primarily from October to May, and reaching the site requires a boat ride.
