Ko-ok is a reef dive site located near the northern part of the South Atoll in Tubbataha. The area features coral formations set within the broader South Atoll, which is characterised by healthy coral plateaus and steep walls.
The coral formations at Ko-ok attract schools of jacks, reef sharks, turtles, manta rays, and other open-water species. As with all Tubbataha sites, marine-life activity depends on the current and conditions on the day, with the best season running from mid-March to mid-June.
Ko-ok is rated as an advanced dive, suited to experienced and confident divers. Current plays a significant role in conditions here, and divers should be prepared to adjust their dive plan accordingly.
