Kokota Reef is a colourful coral garden at Mnemba Atoll, off the coast of Zanzibar in the Indian Ocean. Octopus, moray eels and egg cowries are the animals most often highlighted here, and the site is regarded as a beginner dive.
Visibility is good, and water temperatures across the year range from 24 to 29°C. The atoll is visited by both divers and snorkellers, and the garden is a lively place to spend time looking over the corals and the creatures living among them.
