Landing Craft Utility is a wreck in Triboa Bay close to the end of the runway. It lies on the edge of a reef with its starboard side lower, in 9 to 22 metres of water, and the port side is about 10 metres deep. It is believed to have sunk in a storm after the end of the Second World War. The vessel is a type used by amphibious forces to carry troops and vehicles from ships to the beach, with a bow ramp and three engines in separate watertight compartments.
The wreck has large open areas and is easy to navigate without specialised equipment or training. The small rooms on the deck are a good introduction to wreck diving and suit sidemount training. Visibility is variable at 3 to 8 metres, and Open Water certification is enough. It is a relaxed dive with good fish life, and a good one for underwater photographers.
