Las Galletas is a snorkelling spot in the south of Tenerife, set beside a volcanic sand beach with rocky areas that lead out into clear water. The water is entered easily from the local harbour, and it is generally calm and pleasantly warm.
Marine life includes bream and fulas, octopus and moray eels, with rays and turtles seen only occasionally. Water temperatures run from about 18 to 24 degrees Celsius.
