Maalhos Ocean Side lies off the island of Maalhos in Baa Atoll, on the ocean-facing edge of the atoll rim in the Maldives. Baa Atoll is a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve known for its atoll and channel diving, reached by boat from resorts and guesthouses in the area. Divers here have reported blackfin anemonefish, blacksaddle tobies, midnight snapper, and Napoleon wrasse, along with red-tailed butterflyfish and redlip parrotfish on the reef. Spotted linckia sea stars, strawberry hermit crabs, and thin-shelled rock crabs have also been noted among the reef structure.
