Malgretoute is a dive below the Petit Piton mountain on St Lucia. The name means "Despite Everything". The site is a steep slope broken up by large rocky outcrops, which are encrusted in colourful sponges and a variety of corals.
Large barrel sponges and bright yellow tube sponges grow among the outcrops, and it is worth looking inside them for crabs and basket stars. The reef sits on a steep slope, so depth changes quickly across the site.
