The Missouri is a large wreck off the west coast of Anglesey in Wales, near Porth Dafarch. She was a 5,146-ton barque-rigged steamer that sank in 1886 in a snowstorm, and at 130 m (427 ft) long she is the largest vessel ever wrecked close inshore on that coast.
She is probably the most visited wreck along the west coast of Anglesey. She is broken in two halves, which are best treated as two separate dives, and she lies in about 14 m (46 ft) of water. You can reach her by boat from Trearddur Bay or as a shore dive by swimming out from Porth Dafarch.
Visibility varies a great deal with the direction and strength of the wind. Boats, kayaks and other water users share the area. Anemones, crabs, lobsters, shrimps, starfish, dogfish and kelp are listed for the site.
