Om Sid is a dive site in the Southern Oasis area, south of Dahab. It shows off some of the finest table corals in the area, and it can also be snorkelled.
The corals draw interesting animals, among them torpedo rays and blue spotted rays, with the occasional hawksbill turtle and a few rare nudibranchs for sharp-eyed divers. The site is graded intermediate and reaches about 30 metres, and strong currents mean it needs calm conditions.
