Palong Wall is a dive and snorkel site located in the Koh Phi Phi area, situated approximately 400 metres north of Maya Corner. The site is defined by large limestone boulders that break the surface and descend to around 20 metres, with a steep wall dropping to a sandy seabed scattered with smaller rocks. Navigation is typically done along the shallower sections of the wall, making it accessible to all levels including beginners.
The wall hosts a good variety of soft corals, and the terrain of boulders and rocky relief provides habitat for a range of marine life. Blacktip sharks and leopard sharks reaching up to 1.5 metres have been frequently sighted here, though they are notably shy. Dolphins have also been spotted in the bay.
Conditions at Palong Wall are generally moderate, with current rated as moderate and visibility ranging from 5 to 20 metres. Water temperature runs between 27–30°C, and the site can be dived year-round, with November through April being a noted season. The site is rated intermediate and suited to all levels.
Access is by boat, with the site used as a snorkelling and diving stop during day trips departing from Chalong Pier.
