Punta Caracol, or Seashell Point, is a coral reef in Bocas del Toro, about a 20 minute boat ride from Isla Colon. Depths average 5 to 7 metres (16 to 22ft) and reach a maximum of 14 metres (50ft), and the dive is open to all skill levels.
The water is calm, marked by many buoys, and sees very little boat traffic, which makes this one of the most protected coral reefs in the area. Squid are numerous, and divers have also reported lobster among the rich coral sheltering marine life.
