Sachiko is a sloping wall dive on the northeast corner of Bunaken in Indonesia. It is one of the better places in the marine park for shark encounters, which are most likely on deep walls and slopes where current runs.
The slope is littered with wire corals. Napoleon wrasse, batfish, moray eels, jacks and schools of smaller fish are seen often, and green turtles turn up too. While the guide hunts for small critters, keep an eye on the blue for passing pelagics.
The site goes deep, down to technical depths, and carries a medium current. It can be dived year-round.
