Sodfa is a local reef dive site located ten minutes from the Naama Bay jetty on the Sinai Peninsula coast near Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt. The name was coined by two of the original dive guides in Sharm after jumping in at the site and making an unexpected discovery. The terrain features a large sandy slope beginning at 1 m, with the drop-off reached at 25 m. Coral pinnacles rise across the site, and a gorgonian forest grows along the edge of the drop-off.
The coral pinnacles shelter large concentrations of glassfish, making Sodfa a rewarding site for underwater photographers. The site is listed among the local Sharm El Sheikh reefs noted for beautiful reef and occasional encounters with larger marine life.
Sodfa is a boat dive, reached in roughly ten minutes from the Naama Bay jetty, and is described as a drift dive over coral pinnacles. Current is light, and the site is suited to beginner-level divers, sitting alongside other local sites recommended for training courses and those with less experience.
