Split Bommie is a reef dive where the deep water and wide open spaces suggest sharks, yet it is in fact a real hotspot for macro life. Nudibranchs and tiny crustaceans are what divers come across here.
The site is graded beginner, reaches a maximum depth of 16 metres and has good visibility. Divers have also reported spiny oysters, pipefish, snapper, fusiliers and clownfish on the bommie.
Confirmed by our research team, reported by independent divers, or observed nearby via iNaturalist — each entry is labelled with its source.
