Stingray Point is a reef dive site featuring a distinctive two-part structure: the top of the reef ranges from as shallow as 1.5 m (5 ft) to about 7.5 m (25 ft), and a large sand channel separates the two sections of reef, beginning at around 6 m (20 ft) and sloping down to approximately 40 m (130 ft). The coral to the west is noted for being among the healthiest on the island, with an abundance of hard and soft corals including large pillar corals.
The sand channel and reef support a varied mix of marine life: seahorses, garden eels, pipefish, and flounder inhabit the sandy areas, while spotted eagle rays and stingrays regularly pass through or feed on the sand bottom.
With a shallowest point of around 1.5 m (5 ft) and a maximum depth of 39.6 m (130 ft), the site suits beginner divers exploring the shallower reef sections, while the deeper sand channel offers more for confident divers comfortable with greater depths.
