Sucre is a wreck lying on the continental slope off Pompano Beach, Florida. The ship sits upright at depths of 175 to 225 feet (53 to 69 metres), with the main deck resting at 190 feet (58 metres), and it is rated as a technical dive.
Cranes and cargo holds make up the backdrop, and schools of amberjacks and other large fish gather on the wreck. Built in 1957 as the Louise, the vessel changed hands and names several times before it was sunk on purpose on 27 April 1996 to serve as an artificial reef.
